how to add groups?

i tried by editing groups.txt, than i added player to new group and he stays in same group.

You did read "ulx usermanagementhelp" when you had to use it before using adduser from game, right?

"ulx addgroup" is your best bet.
Read the "ulx usermanagementhelp" for how to use it.

We rarely if ever recommend editing groups.txt
