Random ULX vids
« on: June 01, 2008, 06:00:53 am »
I'm scared of JamminR reading this post... but here goes anyways...

I found a nifty search website (http://addictomatic.com) that searches many different sites. I plugged in ulx gmod into the search box and got some interesting videos back! Thought y'all might be interested...

A 9 year old showing you the difference between the MOTD and adverts...

The same 9 year old showing you how to make adverts...

Someone finally took the time to make a video of how to extract the ULX and ULib files!!

Another thing... apparently there's a new pompous (and proud of it!) admin mod coder on the block:

Eh, why scared? The flash? Flashblock.. I click to pick!

That's one of the seemingly more intelligent, or at least, mature, younger gmod/ULX users I've actually seen/heard.
Even if he doesn't understand what HTML is, he explains it's needed to prevent run on sentence lines. :D
Credits to him for trying to help the community!

As for SuperU.. might it be Ubermensch? He's really never seemed to like our code (or us).
He and another I now forget (its in the FP forum if I really wanted to search) say it's bad coding, but never take the time to explain why they think it's bad coding, or better ways to do individual items they're complaining about.
Ah well, just what we need. Another pompous lua coder. :P :P :P

Oh, by the way, see his main front page, ~May 22 post...seem's he's having much problem with one of his projects.
And to think, the command he's rewriting, we've done in ULib already.

Wow, I didn't think it was possible, but you may have actually found someone who whines as much as garry.

Haha, seems to go with the coding scene for some reason... (I'm not claiming immunity for myself, either :P)
