Map change nightmare - pain in our side

My experience with Lua doesn't give me much input as to how to fix it.
However, more and more people are growing aggrivated with the fact ULX often fails on map change until a player reconnects.

In that particular discussion, he links to another forum in which several have gone to other mods.

Megiddo, I know you keep mentioning it's on our(your) 'to look into' list.
I strongly recommend putting it at the top, if not already there.

Even if the issue isn't truly ULX, but the way Garry works with usermessages on map change/restart, it still needs to be fixed/work around found.

I spent two hours trying to get it to happen to me just once. No dice. :(

Grrr... maxing out the CPU by running lots of programs all at once on my laptop that can only barely handle hl2 normally... I can still connect to uhq.net without ULX/ULib failing. Though UMotd, wire, and advdupe all fail. :P

Even if not ULX, we somewhat get blamed for it.
The whole "other admin mods work fine" blah blah.

You mentioned something about them (usermessages) being out of order one time, even though Garry says they go in order.
I'm thinking that isn't true during map change and players still connected?

I remember saying that... it was something about sending a ton of usermessages all at once or something when they started getting out of order.
