Why would anyone think that removing an important config file would help?

Reading the thread, I don't think he removed it until you told him to.
Though, yes, I know the full group list was missing from his debug info, I still question when he removed it.

On more note... I've noticed quirks about placing users in groups using /settings/users.txt before.
We've had discussion on it actually. I don't remember where you and spbogie went with it once it was brought up, but, it still seems to be problemmatic.

Would it not be advisable to have anyone added to /settings/users.txt actuallly added to data/ULib/users.txt IF they don't already exist there?
I know the UCL imports the access, but there often seems to be problems with dual roleship if they add themselves using adduser later.
