Email about a possible bug?

Got this email from someone having issues with ULX integrating with the default admin system. I haven't touched GMod or the ULX code base in a long time, so I really have no I'd post it here for someone else to respond since I really have no idea what to tell him at this point.

Im running a gmod server and I'm running into some problems with the admin controls, I won't go through the whole thing, but what basically happened was that there was an update for the gmod content, and the ULX SVN (and Ulib). To make sure that no addons were the problem or anything, I copyed my addons, server.cfg, my groups.txt and my other customizations into another folder. I then reinstalled the whole server with the
garrysmod content and the cs:s content and the I put back my server.cfg I then installed ULX and ULib SVN. Started the server and then when it was up, closed it so that Ulib could put the files needed into the Data folder. Then I put my groups.txt back into data/Ulib and started the server again. I joined the server and in the console typed ulx adduser "|AB| oblivioncth" superadmin It came back saying it added me to the group superadmin. This is
were im confused and not sure I the gmod update is bugged or if ULX and Ulib are bugged. I'm able to do ulx admin stuff like access the admin menu and such, but I can't do admin stuff in the actual game like spawn admin entities and weapons or change admin settings in utilities (and before I reinstalled the whole server I was running dark rp and had it set so only admins could give themselves weapons in the q menu, but when I tried to it said
you need admin privileges to use gm_giveswep). So ULX sees that I'm superadmin however the game itself does not.

Whats weird is that when I added my self to the group superadmin group, ULX didn't write anything in settings/users.txt (which I thought I remembered that it did) and it was still in its default form that just told you how to add users. I added my steam id my self by following the tutorial in the gmod wiki but it still didn't work. So I have no idea if the recent ULX or ULib is bugged or if its the gmod update thats bugged, OR that the recent gmod update isn't compadable with ULX/Ulib. It could just be me specifically but I don't see why it would.

Any help is appreciated because I can't find anything on a forum anywhere, and is probably because the update was like 3 days ago.

So ULX sees him as admin, but not gmod? Superadmin isn't inheriting him from admin is my guess.
