Keep in mind that this will not happen until August-ish when I return from Iraq...

When we re-launch our community with our game servers, we will no doubt be renting a dedicated server for gmod hosting.

You think you all would be interested in setting up a server on it? Free of course.

We have a TCAdmin account... which i believe we're still paying for.. hah.. $12 a month.. w/e..

Anyways.. offer is on the table.. think about it.

So after your tour in Iraq, you're still in the military a few more years, correct? What is the common consensus that they do with 'grunts'. :P
Nice offer and is something to keep in mind.
Though actually, I believe our previous challenge wasn't finding a host ... it was finding required time to maintain it. :)
It would crash, and be down hours/days before any of us realized it.

Heh, I would like more distractions from homework  ;D

I've actually been wanting to more actively play gmod, and with the right mods installed.. *cough*UClip*cough*, I'd think it would be fun to moderate/play gmod again!

You (probably) know Megiddo has tried rewriting UClip around Garry's broken functions and it's too inefficient.
Perhaps you could write a dll to do the same function more quickly. :D

I wouldn't know, I only starting using Gmod with version 7 dot something... I guess it's possible 1-6 had some periods?
Wow...that would be epic... to see any of those versions. I'd love to have zips of them just for archive hysterical historical purposes.

When Garry had fewer features I think he was better about keeping them all working...

In a very delayed response to Mr. P: I personally don't have much time for Gmod these days, but if Stick or Jam or Jay are up to the task of managing the server, I'd happily lend a hand when and where possible.
