Thinking of the name "PocketServer", which is surprisingly untaken (from 30 seconds Google search). I don't want to rip off HLSW's name (even though that's what I'm patterning off of), and "SourceControl" or "SourceWatcher" are both long enough that they get the snipped by the iPhone. "iAnything" is just lame.

Stickly... want to buy me a Palm Pre? I found out that most of the backend I'm writing will be in C, so it might be portable after all. (I'm writing it in C because the iOS supports it... and I don't see any other way to do socket level programming, and C sockets are what I'm good with.)
Experiencing God's grace one day at a time.

Actually, I think Palm Pre has a emulator that can emulate apps and such, and I can always test it on (or let you borrow) my palm pre :P

PocketServer makes me think it's more of a server than an app to control one though.

EyeSource (yes, purposely done to mimic 'iSource', and could be shortened by users to be 'eye sore', but, I find that amusing)
HLDSwatch (Remember Swatches? No? Ya darn kids. So young :P)
How short does SourceWatcher get truncated? Would SourceWatch work?

Palm at one time was aimed at open development.
One of the devs at work said that's not so much the case now, but it wouldn't surprise me if they do still have a emulator or tool.
Blackberries have emulators, no idea if they're meant to run dev apps on though.

Guess you won't need to pay to get your app on the Palm Pre app store after all!

And JamminR, yeah, palm is VERY aimed at open development, Here's the community section of Palm's developer center:
