*chuckle* Seems not much has changed in 20 30 years.
Back when I did that dance, it was called the Chicken Dance, and the tune was to a polka.
Few years after I left high school, some pop tune from south of the border changed it into something called the "Macarena"
Now, east meets west and it becomes Para Para.

Darn kids. Get off my lawn

Megiddo, do you wear the cute dance skirt and boots too? Mmmm, bet those legs are sexy!

Haha, didn't even think about the chicken dance. The chicken dance is only a single dance while para para is more a category of dances, though.

They offered me a skirt and boots but I turned them down. :P

You should have taken them.. they certainly would have proven to be good conversation starters.

good conversation starters.

Yeah. If not directly with him, then definitely about him. :P

Oh, BTW, I'm back. Yesterdays postings were from home. I didn't even pay attention to when we left SC and arrived home, but it sure did SEEM longer.

Did you bring home any sand to remember your trip?

Of course. There is no way we know to come home from a beach trip and not find sand buried in a towel, swim suit, some shoes or other item taken on the trip, no matter how many times you wash before getting home.

Oh, you mean on purpose? No. No sand.
The day of hurricane Earl's storm surge high tide, Sheri and I went for a walk about 2 hours after.
We found some nice small shells.
Though the area in front of our condo only had a few big waves come up higher than normal, an area about quarter mile down the beach from us became a tidal pool for half a day.
I'll try to get the pictures from my wife. Where beach once was became ocean.
It was quite impressive.
