Well, here are my thoughts/plans on whats going on with the SoUGM project:
o Extended spawn menu, maybe with customizable options
--there are a lot of useless props, gibs, etc, that some people might not want on their spawn menu, so i want to find a way thats somewhat customizable, yet you don't have to go through every prop and check which ones you want/don't want
o Working versions of things in spawn menu
--Such as health kit, batteries, ammo, ammo crates, etc... only instead of them just being a prop, you can actually get or use them
o Additional materials to set entities to (using the material tool)
--I probably will also allow the users to select various materials, seeing as how you can't have all of them
o In-Game mp3 player
--Not a high priority project, but one I want to add. You will (hopefully) be able to select an mp3 folder directory.
o Sprites
--Various sprites that you can add
o Sounds
--Include voices/sounds from hl2, maybe even be able to add an effect for UCause to play a sound
o Scenes
--Include scenes that you can use on a NPC
o Console Commands
--Fun/useful commands to use, including rendering options, or other interesting commands
o AI controls
--Striderbeam thing, dropship pickup, all the old controls + more
o Precise thruster values
--Just an idea, but I want to make some way you can SPECIFY the value for thruster speed (not just 0, 143, 313, etc..)
o RC cars!
--Something I just barely remembered, you can control a car without being in it
o And anything else that comes to mind
--I'm probably forgetting something, but I'll add to list when I remember
