My happy christmas break (not so much)
« on: December 31, 2006, 03:34:48 pm »
I hope everyone else had/is having a good time over the holidays. Unforunatly mine has not been so great. I spent the last 5 days in the hospital with pulminary embolisms (google it). Don't ask how, I don't know, this usually only occures in people who are like 70 or older. Every thing is good now though, and I'm ready to get to work.

So hyw was everyone else's week?

Glad to see you back in action!
Are the doctors looking into what caused these? It seems to me there has to be a contributing factor/problem.
I do hope and pray it was just a freak thing, but if I were in your situation, I'd rather know for sure.

Christmas-wise, I had a good one. The real reason for the season was remembered and honored within my family.

However, tragedy struck my family Friday, Dec 22. My wife's only brother, (my bro-in-law), died in a car accident while traveling to see her dad and stepmother.
The funeral was this past Thursday Dec 28th.
It's been a rough week for many of us it seems.

Yeah they're running a bunch of tests to check for any blood disorders that may have caused it. I really hope it was just a freak thing, and there isn't anything to cause them again, otherwise I'm stuck on blood thinners for the rest of my life.

Wow, yeah this really isn't a great holiday season, now my Grandpa is in the hospital. I really don't want to know if it can get any worse.
