myPlex anyone?
« on: July 18, 2013, 08:26:27 pm »
Anyone here Plex users?
Plex pretty much saved Roku as a Home theater device for me. (and I now have Plex for Android too).
I have a plex server I run 24x7
If interested, give me your Plex usernames. I'll share my growing movie collection.
(I've been ripping/encoding like a mad man the past 2-3 months...270+ movies, all but ~20 I own and have encoded.)

I picked up an Apple TV recently and love it, but no Plex. :P

I have heard about the hack to use Plex on the ATV w/o jailbreaking though. Cool trick they used!

PlexConnect - Plex through Apple "trailers" hack?
Yeah, seems cool.
Does it do remote servers? I've not looked into it.
You registered on myplex? If so, which nickname? I'll share my movies and music library.

Invitation sent. Sign in whever you want to accept.
You'll be able to watch/listen using a browser or (maybe) your PlexConnect, or any other Plex client.

Interesting. I'll definitely try setting it up once I have a house and a TV. :)
