Database error

So Bytewave says I hate "everything" joking in another thread.
I try to come back with proof that I don't.
I go to advanced search (I know, only we can at the moment).
I type in "hate" and by user JamminR.

9 pages??
Oh, wait. it's finding the word "whatever"

So, I try again, only using "hate" and "-what"
I get this error.

Huh, well, upgrade.php is supposed to execute automatically with the way we've upgraded. Worth downloading it and trying manually, though.

Well, yeah, but, it's a database.
I'll take blame for upgrading forum files, but, the heart of the forum...I'll leave that to you.

Tried and did not fix it.

At some point it may be worth taking a backup of the forums and then doing a clean install and restoring from the backup.
The forums have been patched and upgraded for a lot of years now, a clean install might make things run smoother. (and maybe bring back the search feature)
