Hey guys. We should make a new version of UTime that supports PostgreSQL. We're trendsetters, after all. ;)

We shall call it -- UTime Ultra Platinum Edition

Wut. PostgreSQL is not hip enough! MongoDB is where it's at!! :D

Disclaimer: The above is sarcasm. At my job, I have seen people tout MongoDB as the bestest thing ever, then want to use it to store relational data like MySQL. *shudder* Just joking about it above made me feel the need to add this disclaimer.

UMPIRE
UtiMe PremIum Radical-est Ever
Using csv flat text.
Loads into memory at map load, loads again, diffs, and then rewrites out updates on map change or server shutdown to ensure multiple servers at once.
It's not our fault if you add so many mods your gmod crashes every few hours.

Again, why settle for CSV when XML is clearly the most performant flatfile data structure?!  ;)

.. We can write our own XML parser in lua using patterns and whatnot- it'll be great!  :D

Let's just hire people to go around and write down the info on paper, use carbon paper for backups, and fax it to a central location.
When the server starts, the agent on the ground will send a telegraph request to our main location for the info and it'll be sent via carrier pigeon back to the server for input manually.

MrPresident, that's IT!!
Except, one of those steps should be smoke signal and or fire tower.
Then it would just be the ULTIMATE Utime version.
