Lol thanks for the ideas jay, if you look a few posts back, i attached an example using microsoft .NET and visual studio of a quick layout idea.. I'm currently working on fixing up the admin portion of my gui lol.. I was going to post screenshots as soon as i started working on the maps tab.. but, its taking me a bit lol.. I hopefully will have something to show within the next 4 hours.. because after that I fear im going to be distracted for a loong time because I ordered one of these: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gjAxGVH1JOM

That could be an option-- I already have three different ways of opening the GUI so far: popup, toggle, or just a button for opening and a button for closing
I also had an idea where you could look at a player and press a button for a popup-menu for that player, so you can quickly kick/slap someone just by looking at them and showing a menu.. The scoreboard implementation doesn't sound like a bad idea ;) Of course, I could do the reverse and put the scoreboard IN the gui.. lol, I like these ideas, keep 'em comin :D

I briefly looked at the code, and as far I can tell, I don't see any function being called relating to ulx or ulib

Whoo, I thought the partying was over, but it stretched on for a whiile, so now-- 15 days later-- I finally got around to pushing a new git... even though not much has changed anyways lol.. I fixed up the admin tab.. should work perfectly except for a few bugs dealing with admins names while they're offline... actually I think I have an idea to fix that.. later though, since I pulled another 3 AMer hahaha
Oh, and I added a maps tab. Pretty empty so far but.. yeah.. lol

Which reminds me, can anyone think of an efficient way to look up the maps on the server? I haven't done too much peeking around because I'm surprisingly getting tired at this obscure time.. The only thing I can think of is using maps * and sending the console output.. or maybe I could just check the file structure itself on the server.. bah, I'll try and figure it all out tomorrow haha

--And now for an update! This time with screenshots  :D

So far I have three basic tabs: Players, Admins, and Maps--



So far, just a list of connected people, and you can send private messages. Haven't worked on this because its one of the parts I'm still deciding on exactly how I'm going to have everything organized.. Much easier to work on stuff I have planned out haha



This is the admin page, where players can see who the admins are (online or offline), and can send private messages to all admins-- and admins can send messages to all via tsay, csay, etc, send console commands to server, and manage players' groups-- You can manage them by SteamID, or if they are currently in a group but offline, you don't have to look up their SteamID to change their status!



And lastly, this is what I've worked on all day today! A menu that will allow players to see what maps the server has (and thumbnails if they have them, those map icon packs are quite nice in this case.. lol), and will allow them to votemap a map, and veto their vote. Admins can do a votemap2 with one or multiple maps (no need describing how it works, you guys wrote it lol), and can force a changelevel.


Anyways, that's what I have so far.. I have no idea why on earth I went so detailed in the description-- probably to keep JamminR and Jay a little more informed  ;) -- But now its sleep time.. Hopefully I will be working on this a lot more than I have the past couple weeks-- all that partying lol

Brat!!

The pictures were worth a million words.
I think I could cry with how well your user management idea sounds and looks.
ULX has needed that since, well, since version 1!
Megiddo, spbogie and I (and even Jay started some of it!) all knew it was needed, yet never sat down and did it.

Yes yes, And I've been meaning to get around to it for quite some time haha--  I remember Megiddo first trying to do script-based menus for UGM waaay back when lol
