Hah. It looks more like ULX every time he writes about it. Interesting argument-building system, on first blush, I like the natural feel the string brings...

ulx.AddCommand( "ulx slap", {"player", "[number: x>=0, default 0]"}, ... )

It's basically a reverse of the short help provided by ULX. However, since the syntax would need to be so rigid anyways, maybe it's better to stick with what people know (function calls or table values).

Awesomium was updated in the last GMod update to the latest version. I could have sworn I pinged you about that, but I guess one (or both) of us forgot. ;)

Heads up- Gmod update released an hour ago :P I don't anticipate any issues.. but.. you never know.

Also, don't forget about ASSMod, Megiddo! I know there are working versions of it out there somewhere- I'm just not sure where the most maintained version is.

Also, some backstory on the Natural Selection 2 (NS2) admin mods Megiddo listed above:
I am setting up a dedicated server for NS2 on my home computer so that we can have a server to play on when (hopefully) enough of my friends and people I know have some time to play. Most major NS2 servers I've played on use various workshop addons- NS2+ and Shine (admin mod) and it really makes a few iffy parts of online play much more bearable. So, I worked on getting these installed.

As I was looking through the documentation for Shine, I couldn't help but notice things that looked familiar. I sent the link to Megiddo, and he found even more similarities than I did.

Anyways, It appears that Shine is heavily influenced by ULX. :) Which is funny, because ULX is heavily based off of AMXX, a popular hl1 engine based admin mod (but frequently used in the original Natural Seletion).

At one time, I remember Megiddo had a domain dedicated to the idea of an admin mod for NS. I don't remember if it was intended towards the, at the time, upcoming NS2, or was actually planned for NS.
I want to say the domain started with the letter "O", but for the life of me can't find my email or forum PM conversations with him about it.

It was named OTLib. The idea was to make it general enough so that it could easily be adapted to other games (GMod or NS2). I toyed with OTLib a few times over many, many years. Quite a bit of what I did in OTLib snuck into ULX3 over time.

Doing something for NS2 is still a glimmer in the back of my mind, but making a platform general enough to handle either GMod or NS2 is just far too difficult and overly complicates things.

EDIT:

I guess https://github.com/andyvincent/ASSmod is as close as we can get for "official" or even "passably usable" ASSmod.
